Don't know about Tyson not being able to box, at his best, I don't think any one could beat him! It was obvious against douglas, something was wrong, Mike was sluggish and slow. I've read a magazine article by one of his seconds, that Mike was out till 6 am partying before that fight! He just lost his focus and hunger for boxing at that time. That result was a one off. As for the post-prison Tyson?? He was a shot fighter after 3 years inside. Tyson in his prime was a far more intelligent fighter than people give him credit for! He was excellent fighting on the inside. He very rarely got hit, because his head movement was so good, kept his hands up. You dont have to fight pretty like Ali and Sugar Ray, to be considered a good boxer
