Man, I've been dealing with the exact same problem.
Kippered Herring is a good light calorie snack (150 calories) with 14g of protein. Good stuff, but not very filling or good tasting. I think a bowl of cereal is a good way to go. 350 calories, two food groups, and very healthy depending on the type of cereal, which for me is Vector is its high in almost everything you can expect from a cereal.
I like big sandwiches. Whole Wheat/Seven Gran/Flax bread. Mustard for condiment, no butter or mayo or anything. Tomato, lettuce, pickle, onions, lunch meat (22% protein or higher) or leftover chicken. No cheese.
I think you and I should look into Meal Replacements, like Milk N Oats and Protein Shakes....
any Meal Replacements anybody can reccommend?
