Its been in my experience, these people only want to create publicity for themselves by bashing a popular and rapidly growing sport. They have chosen to form an opinion in their mind based mostly on misconceptions, and they don't desire to learn the truth.
Thus, intelligent letters won't open their eyes to the truth. They'll pick out the one letter from the moron who threatens to kick their a** for writing an article bashing MMA, and publicize it in their follow-up article.
We created the list to keep people informed of the known media t-rolls, to keep people from posting these articles all over internet forums, and to prevent giving these people the attention they're so desperately wanting.

I understand completely. Though I still don't see much effect coming from this blacklist. I can see it influencing FightForum members to stay clear of their articles, but nothing beyond that.
I would rather the entire world know exactly who they are, and what they have written about MMA. If they ever do become famous, once their lies are exposed, it will turn to infamy. The general population will also be educated on the truths and misconceptions of MMA. Ultimately a win-win situation for MMA. I also doubt they'll ever be trusted to write again.
The other idea is for people here to go outside the bounds of FightForum and spread their names and lies around for all to see. This will basically speed up the descension to infamy.
