Haha, the one below his armpit is crazy, and the other looks like a stab wound or something.

Jesus H Christ.
And I thought mine was pretty nasty.
I wonder if the staph infectors were juiced to be that effective?
No but really, get well soon, K-Rand.

The skin is the largest organ in the human body. It is an organ which many people don't realize. It's job is to cover and protect the musculoskeletal system and also of course to protect internal organs.
If an infection (in this case staph) damages enough of the tissue of the skin to where it attacks the muscles, bones, and later organs of the internal body? Sure, it could kill you.
Quite easily in fact.
Guess how you get it?
Over-Exposure to unsanitary conditions. Also, not washing thoroughly after exposure to such.
Damn, now I gotta go take a shower.

All these recent cases of staph make me wonder if any of these gyms out there are cleaning their mats. This is getting to be all too common.

The problem is that he didnt get medical attention when he first noticed a problem. People think they are not that big of a problem and let it go thinking it will go away or not realizing its actually a staff infection. Then when it really starts to bother them, they end up in Randleman's shape.

you forget that these super strains of Staph did'nt exist a decade ago. the over use of antibacterial soaps and antibiotics has led to numerous drug resistant strains of bacteria. another possible reason for the increase in these infections is our overly sanitized nation. Americans in general are not exposed to germs and parasites that people in 3rd world nations have become resistant to. so when we do get something our immune systems are not prepared to deal with it.
