Fedor has visions of a global MMA organization. Rich Franklin just wants Pedialite. Who else has seen the bonus features on the UFC DVD that features Okami vs. Franklin? Its incredible how a seemingly easy flight to Ireland screwed up so many fighters prefight routines. Cutting weight was especially hard for Franklin with the time differances and the lack of common supplies found in the USA such as Pedialite and Abolene cream. Which brings me back to the idea of a Global Promotion such as M-1 envisions. How is a fighter supposed to be at 100% when they have to fly all over the world to compete? it seems like a small detail but judging by the troubles faced by UFC fighters in Ireland it may be a bigger problem then promoters realize.
