i always see this things and many MMA fighters have this, IMO all the Org.s should have a mandatory after fight treatment on this, Fighters are still human and have the right to look good on their Fans....

Cauliflower ear is a reality in combat sports... Not a whole lot you can do about it. Either you get punched in the ear, or your ear is constantly getting smashed while rolling. You can only wear head gear so much. Once you get it, it's hard to stop it!

If the fighters want treatment, they get it...other fighters see cauliflower ear as a sort of badge of honor...no reason to make it mandatory...

I am sorry, is this a modeling agency or a fight forum?

Exactly. No matter what. Is the choice of the fighter. Like if you are hockey fighter or something like that and don't want to put new tooth in your mouth.

In regards to Thompson I read in the Thompson interview thread that they had tried to drain it previously, but within minutes it refilled with fluids again, so he decided just to leave it for the fight. I think most org's look after the fighters. Just about anyone wee're seeing on TV/PPV has a team or school they're involved in to help them out as well. If they've made it this far they've most likely got good support, or as mentioned above, they wear 'em like badges of honour, and could probably stomp the fool who'd ridicule them.
