Who is your favourite UFC fighter?
Mine is Vitor Belfort. In UFC 12 and 13 he showed in that time he was practically undefeatable.

Mine, as you can probably tell, is "The Natural" Randy Couture. This guy is all heart so I wouldn't count him out just yet. He's put down Belfort, Tito, and Chuck. His performance against Chuck in UFC 43 is probably my favorite.
What happened to Belfort? He used to be lightning fast and aggressive. Now he just seems lethargic.

Mine would probably be Randy Couture. He is just awesome for a 41/42 year old, but Forrest Griffin and Diego Sanchez are just complete class, so they're joint second.

Belfort, he would be the best fighter in the world, but his mental state is terrible as his sister got kidnapped. Randy Couture is a legend, the best moment was when he fought Tito and spanked him in the octagon and when he won Tito cried so much! Funniest bit in UFC ever and im glad Tito doesn't fight in UFC any more.

I'm a Randy fan myself. I think Couture is the epitome of an athlete. He's in his damn forties and look at the shape he is in. He's held the belt in both heavyweight and light heavyweight. What else do I have to say? His athletic ability, his heart and his sportsmanship make him my all time fave.

How can you not like Randy, the guy is a class act. It is amazing that he is still in tip top shape at his age. He is an extremely smart and talented fighter and I think he could still beat anyone in the light heavyweight division, especially on the ground.
It was unfortionate that he caught that right hook from Chuck because I'm sure he would have gotten the fight to the ground and had a repeat of the first fight. At the same time I am happy that Liddell finally got a title shot after all this time and took advantage.
This last Hughes Trigg fight really impressed me. Trigg landed a cheap knee, pretty much had the full mount, almost had hughes choked out from a rear naked choke, yet Hughes battled back to win it. You have to admit that when Hughes made it to his feet and did a running slam with Trigg on his shoulder, you knew it was over.
It's tough to pick 1 as my favorite, but I would say that Couture, Liddell, and Hughes are in my top 3.

Wow...thats a tough one. I guess I would have to say either Georges St. Pierre or Rich Franklin. I expect both guys to become champ soon and have a long reign.

Georges St. Pierre has been my favorite up and coming guy since the fight against Karo Paresian. (Can NEVER spell his last name right). As for guys that have been in the game for a while or have retired, I like Randy Couture and Pat Miletich. Heard Miletich is going to be fighting in TKO soon.. can anyone confirm?
And of course, Royce Gracie, but that is a given.

Hmmmmm, it's gotta be Randy for me. After him it's hard to say, maybe Chuck or Evan Tanner.
Or even the Belarussian giant
Pretty much everyone that isn't Diego Sanchez or Tito Ortiz rules.

Well that's probably jumping ahead of myself a bit. I wanna see him fight some more vs UFC talent too before I really judge him and throw him in my "Tito-boat."
Plus I wanted Chris Leben to win the middleweights, so i'm biased and probably in the minority there, lol.

All time it is hands down Royce Gracie period.
Of the current crop give me Nick Diaz and Chuck Lidell.
Oh and to the poster before me, I wanted Chris to win too but I think Diego is the real deal.

Although the Ice Man is my all time favorite, Rich Franklin really impressed the hell out of me in his last two fights. They guy seems to have all of the tools to have a long run as the champ. I'd like to see him fight Lawler, Lindlen or Mark Weir next. The middleweights are going to be exciting to watch for the next year or so.
Matt Hughs is one hell of a warrior as well. The UFC is stacked with exciting fighters with the potential for some huge match ups soon.

I love Lidell. I'm a big fan of someone who can be a very effective striker and be able to keep from going to the ground like he does. Excellent take down defense there and getting better on the ground as well.
Hughes is amazing. Body-slamming Verissimo out of that trianlge choke? Amazing!
Frankilin is going to do great things as well.
I wanted Chris Leben to win TUF as well. Please, like fighting Florian was hard. I think Diego had an easy ride. I'm not judging yet, but I'm leaning the same way as PghPens71. However, if Nate Quarry didn't get injured he would have taken it all. I can't wait to see more of his fights. Great debut at 53.
I used to like Baroni alot actually. Amazingly fast hands. Don't know what the heck happened at that Tanner rematch. He barely fought, kept looking at the clock. It was just weird.

i would say Ken Shamrock is one of my favorites. he was one of the pioneers of the sport and was one of the first to have a true mixed style. his methods are solid and even though he is'nt the fighter he used to be he is still my favorite.

My favorite would have to be... Rich Franklin! I can't wait to see Rich and Matt Hughes as the coaches on the Ultimate Fighter show.

Karo Perisyan
Honestly, I have no one fighter I like more than the other. I truely enjoy watching all of them compete. They all bring something worth watching to every fight. However, Karo Parisyan should definetly be one of the next fighters to get a tittle shot. That man is going to be a fierce opponent for anybody in the Welterwieght division. Now the Diaz vs. Parisyan fight reference, you might want to buy the DVD and watch it again. It was without a doubt a awsome fight, but there is no doubt that Parisyan won. Not even Diaz thought he won that fight.
