i think arlovski is on a streak right now that no one in the ufc will snap (until i see how mir does saturday night) so i believe if theres anyone thats gonna be a good fight it would be a match with fedor and in that case arlovski is the only heavyweight i think could have a chance at beating him right now....
and as for w/e said rich franklin deserves to be mentioned you are correct! Sure im partial because he is my favorite fightebut i dont see anyone beating him in the middleweight class, the crow and leben are probably the top two contenders and neither is well rounded enough to beat him, eventually i would like to see him go back up to light heavyweight to see what he can do!

I donīt know.. many guys came and went. There are a few who could qualify as the best ever. Iīm leaning towards Fedor if he keeps this up for another 2-3 years. He is already the best NOW, and 2-3 more years of killing everybody in the division would really make him the best ever.

At the moment Horn and Marquart are the two serious contenders after the crow for Rich. Leben has some work to do. He has good hands but rich has better and even with his jaw a puch like rich did to nate will put him right on the ground.

exactly my point, hes by far the best right now, but longevity is so important with saying the best EVER.... i still say mike tyson and hughes (if he beats GSP and penn)

You're right Andrei is on a streak. But let's face it he is the king standing on top of a tremendous mound of cans. I'm not saying that he isn't good because he is. But Fedor is on a streak as well beating top ranked fighters left and right, never truly losing a fight yet. So until I see otherwise of Andrei being truly tested then I have to say Fedor can't be beaten by Andrei.
Franklin also has a long time to go before he can be considered best ever. He doesn't have much competition either. I would definitely like to see him go back to 205. Much better matchups there for him.

Tito Ortiz will lose to Forrest Griffin because e is a bum..... the only reason hes back is to entertain fans not win fights! Many Tito fans will be broke after they bet on him after he fights griffin!

Rich Franklin is going to have a lot of trouble and it's going to happen soon. A fighter by the name of Andy Barone (maybe you have heard of him) is an up and coming star. His forearms are more vicious than The Crow's elbows. You heard it here first...Andy "forearms" Barone UFC middleweight champion by the middle of 2007.

I don't know what this Franklin fan is talking about he must hate Tito Ortiz. What facts do you show to prove that Forrest Griffin is going to beat Tito Ortiz? Please don't tell me your one of those new "the ultimate fighter" fans. If you are your going to be highly disappointed when one of the greatest champions in UFC history (Tito Ortiz) beats Griffin. Tito is stronger and should have no problem taking Griffin down. I see Tito taking him down every round and possibly getting a stoppage in the 2nd or 3rd. Let me remind you that Tito hasn't been submitted since UFC 13...don't think he's going to all of a sudden get submitted by an "the ultimate fighter" star.

errrr.....
First, I wouldn't back talk a mod if i were you.
second, i guess, Tito has got some skills but recently he hasn't used them. He really hasn't had an impressive win since Tanner. Sure he beat vladdy, ken, and cote but thats nothing special.
third, Rich is by far the #1 MW in the world. The only other person you could even consider for that spot is henderson.

Nice, you mention Cote instead of Vitor. Nothing special huh? Idk I'm not a big Tito fan but I think he'll kill Forrest and Tito is definitely one of the greatest fighters in the history of the UFC.

That's cause he didn't really beat Vitor. He got the decision but he didn't beat vitor.
And Tito one of the greatest fighters in UFC history? Great fighters don't duck the number 1 contender untill they are forced into a fight and then get domminated twice in a row. Tito could be a top 10 fighter again, but he isn't right now.

Andy Barone fights out of the Wooster's Grove fight club academy. His record is 11-0 with 7 ground and pound stoppages (forearms) and 4 submissions. I'm tellin ya he's someone to look out for.

I don't feel like repeating it again so look in the conterversal UFC decisions thread and you are sure to find it.
I am always one of the first people to agree with the judges but, based on the UFC's own scoring critera Vitor won the first 2 rounds. Two of the judges didn't do there job right. It happens but it dosn't change the fact that Tito 'win' wasn't impressive.

What promotion does he fight in or is he an amature? Several searches have turned up nothing.

Sorry to derail the thread but I predict FranklinIsOverrated doesn't last a week. Just what we need another keyboard warrior. Dude don't try and act like a tough guy, it's not necessary. Follow that rule, and you will do fine. At least for longer than a week.

Johnny are you a little angry? I wasn't a "keyboard warrior" in any way so I don't know what your talking about. I believe you are being the "keyboard warrior" by trying to provoke me and calling me a 'tough guy.' I predict I have more MMA knowledge than you will ever have. You kids have a lot of nerve these days. I really don't know where everything went wrong. When I was in my 20's or early 30's I didn't act that way. Are you even in your 20's?
