Ok, This one is a good question I think.
What gives a fighter real credibility as a good fighter ?
Is it better to have fought 50 nobodys and beat 45 of them and lost to 5 of them ?
Or fight 5 of the best in the world and beat only 1 and lost to 4 ?
This comes up over and over again everywhere, People asking why someone is good or why someone thinks someone is good cuz they never beat any of the top guys only nobodys.
I can see if you fight 5 nobodys and lost to 4 and beat 1 your not anything great, But if you fight 5 of the tops and beat 1 and lose to 4 you might be pretty good.
But some fighters have fought almost if not all nobodys but beat a very large number of them and people still pull the "Hes only fought nobodys" CARD all the time.
The way I see it is like this, If you can beat grown men "NOBODYS or NOT" in a fight 2.5 out of 4 times you are pretty good 3 out of 4 times and you are really good and 3.5 out of 4 your darn GOOD !! If your 50-50 or under 50% then there is no need to ask this question
Even more impressive in MMA since its close to anything goes fighting.
What does everyone think about it
