Very nice tornado kick
check out this video..the kick could have been avoided but im glad it was not...very nice...

That my friends is Taekwondo competition sparring! Full contact fighting. That kick is called padachagi (sp?). Basically it's a spinning roundhouse kick. I don't know where tornado kick came from.

It's called checking and feelig out the other fighter. You switch your stances a lot in your fights. It's to catch an opening and score.
I also want to say that I told you guys the wrong name of that kick. a padachagi kick is a straight roundhouse that is in the motion of a switch that is used defensivly. An nadabahn is the "tornado kick" that you see in teh video. Sorry . . .

the point is to look for an opening not leave one.. the kid looked like he was 13yrs old and as i originally stated he looked uncomfortable..
