Soccer kicks
I was watching a fight a while back where I saw a soccer kick that was crazy.
I was wondering if some one knows what fight I am talking about because I cant remember.
It was bad. I thought it might be a ring death. The only other time I have been worryed about a fighter not geting up was quarry.
Also do u think they should be allowed? I mean sure they are great to watch and not easy to pull off but whne they hit right. Just wondering what u think

Soccer kicks are fine. I don't care whether they are there or not. I'm the same way about elbows. If they aren't there I don't miss them but if they are that's fine. I don't think they are as brutal as some make it out to be. They just look brutal though.
I have a question. Would you rather be under Tito taking elbows for five minutes straight like Forrest was or take one soccer kick?

Right, and I totally agree with you. They do look brutal. I'm not arguing that at all. But the original post sounds very anti-soccer kicks for the danger factor.

I dident mean to come off anti-soccer kick I love seeing them. Its just they look so Crazy and brutal. Stomps and soccer kicks make it look way more like a street fight. Not much teckneek to them if u know what I mean.

No I totally understand what you mean. Like I said I do agree they do look pretty brutal. And they are dangerous but pretty much everything about MMA is dangerous. I can't really say one way or the other.
I have seen more fighters go stiff as a board and/or go into convulsions all from punches or high kicks. I cannot think of a time where a fighter has not been able to walk out on their own power after taking stomps or a soccer kick though.

if you watch vale tudo its rare a soccer kick or a stomp gets pulled off, its so difficult to land, the only time a fighter would be in that position would be after a heavey shot and realistically the ref would be in to stop it, with the awareness of the guard and defense the kick would be defended almost every time.
