Which is your favorite, among all different forms of fighting including Boxing, UFC, Pride, and K1, Kickboxing? My favorite is UFC.

The UFC is still in its infancy, however, they are certainly making a run as of late. The UFC 53 card isn't very impressive other than the Tanner / Franklin fight. Now that Tito is gone for good, they have a real lack of depth in terms of people that can draw. Someone needs to step up in a hurry.
Pride has long been the standard for MMA. I just wish they had the sack to let Silva come and fight Chuck. However, I do understand why they don't. They have everything to lose and nothing to gain by doing so. The UFC is growing quickly so we may see some inter-promotional matches down the road.
Boxing is on life support right now. It's hard to compete with the excitement of MMA. People have grown tired of the scumbag promoters like Don King who give the sport a bad name.
Honestly, would you rather watch two guys throw punches at each other for 12 rounds or watch someone get knocked the *@!# out in 2 rounds. I like where the UFC is headed.

I used to be more of a boxing fan, but I'm starting to like the UFC after learning more about it. It helps that they cleaned it up alot and the fight is ended once somebody gets knocked out or can't defend themselves. I didn't care much for the days when somebody would get knocked out and still take another 4 or 5 elbows.
What I like about the UFC over boxing is the fact that you don't have 2 boxers tie-ing up for 12 rounds while throwing minimal punches. Not saying that all matches are like this, but the one's that are can be rather borring to watch.

I'm a fan of regular boxing, as well as wrestling.
Nothing too complicated I guess :P.

I use to be into wrestling alot, but im drifting towards boxing now. Although I have rented alot of UFC movies and I like to watch it alot. But, it seems im only attracted to either one only if its a championship fight for some reason.
I guess its more interesting

MMA fan
I haven't been a fan of the WWF style of wrestling since elementary school, but I do enjoy watching boxing and kickboxing. However, my biggest interest lies in MMA.
I enjoy the variety that you see in the matches. In one match you can see a mixture of the strategic and tactical movement of the two fighters, the exposiveness of solid hands or knees, and the quickness to seize an opportunity when a mistake is made. A good match-up can be either a lightning fast explosion of strikes, or a long battle of strategy. MMA entertains with action.

I agree that MMA is very exciting to watch. I'd rather watch a good MMA fight with alot of variety then 2 lightweight boxers tie-ing eachother up for 12 rounds. I get frustrated when fighters are prefectly content with going to the judges scorecard.

I prefer boxing over mma
Don't get me wrong watching a god mma fight is great. The explosive power of all the fighters. But I prefer the technical fighting involved in boxing. I agree that when the two boxers are still amateurs they will be satisfied with going through the rounds but a seasoned boxer wil attack and withdraw and wait for the perfect moment for that critical hit. MMA is similar but very barbarrack in comparison.

I enjoy watching boxing. I am talking about the matches where both fighters throw a jab then grab onto eachother untill it is broken up. 12 rounds of this isn't the most exciting thing to watch.
I also prefer to watch the big name fighters that have knockout power over the people that try to land has many light slaps as they can to win the round according to the judges.
The contender has been exciting to watch...Fighters are in a position where they have to lay it all on the line and that makes for exciting matches.

Lots of quite interesting opinions described above.
Actually I enjoy almost all kinds of fighting: boxing, wrestling, karate, taek-won-do, kung-fu, etc. But my favorite is boxing (especially hard-hitting heavyweights).

I'm not too sure about these statements. The UFC has been around longer that Pride. The first Pride event didn't occur unitl late 97. The UFC has been around since 93.

I think just boxing is boring-unless they are really pounding on each other. Wrestling is like a male soap opera, my dad made watch wrestling and actually took me to the shows when I was young. I think I am past all that. MMA is new to me, but it is so exciting. I think it requires a lot more skill and I never know what is going to happen.

My bad LastExit. When I said that the UFC is still in its infancy I meant it more in terms of popularity. On the global scale Pride is more well established. Some of their events have 90,000+ people in attendance. I was commenting more on the fact that the UFC isn't quite there yet in terms of draw. That's why I think Pride is, and has been, the standard.
I don't think that the UFC will be selling out the Oakland Coliseum anytime soon.

Agreed! From a mainstream stand point, the UFC is still very much in it's infancy. And in all honesty, I don't think it will ever match up to Pride in that aspect. The Japanese fans just seem to have a better appreaciation for the ground game. That's something that a lot of American fans aren't able to do.
Sorry for the misinterpretation
