23 hate wrestling, 8 have no strong feelings either way, and 7 love it. If you don't like my poll, start your own. Just don't go around here saying most MMA fans watch wrestling, because this poll says that the majority of MMA fans hate it. ;~)

I like wrestiling, and I love when people feel the need to tell me it's "fake" 1st of all it's not fake it's choreographed, the laundry list of real injuries that these wrestlers get is amazing. 2nd those same people who tell me wrestling is fake have to watch their favorite TV shows every week....don't they realize they are fake, scripted shows with paid actors?! LOL I always thought that was funny

That is the problem. What does "No strong feeling" mean? What is the difference between "I love wrestling" and "Wrestling is OK"? And, why only ONE negative option? You see, your poll is all screwed up. It is not scientific at all. It proves absolutely nothing. It does not extablish anything by way of what you set out to do. Look at your original post.
As it stands, there are 16 positive votes and 23 negative, and you cannot escape that outcome. So, I will go around saying that most MMA fans watch wrestling, because this poll is flawed and does not establish what you say that it established. 23:16 is NOT a majority that is respectable. You skewed the poll to make it seem like it was 23:8 and that is false.
Oh, and I see no point to start yet another useless poll. So, if you do not like my assessment of this flawed poll, then YOU start another poll yourself. I suggest that you do some research on how polls are made to begin with. And, make a sensible question and intelligent choices for answers.

People call it fake because the opponents in the ring are suppose to be "fighting" but are pretending to do so -- hence why people call it "fake". In my opinion, there’s something effeminate watching two or more people in a ring pretending to fight and going on with pointless dialog...that’s why I don't watch it.

That is the type of disrespect that causes flame wars in forums. You are essentially calling pro-wrestling fans gay or homosexual because they like watching pro-wrestling. First off, you are wrong. Second off, the statement you made says far more about YOU than it does any pro-wrestling fans. So, think before you hit that submit reply button. You are saying that you do not watch because you are a homophobe -- or worse, you are afraid to admit to being gay. You can choose between them.

His poll is so simple you are over-complicating it...do you like it/don’t really care for it/hate it...there’s one positive/neutral/negative choice, so I don't know why you are so confused with this. None of the polls here are scientific and there not suppose to be. Don't forget that this is simply a forum. Until someone established a scientific poll, it’s simply childish and infantile to say "I'm going to say most MMA fans watch/don’t watch wrestling"...come on people…grow up...

Since when can opinions be wrong?...read what I write more carefully before you shoot off comments. I say I don't watch because I don't like watching drama's...I'm not that kind of guy and I'm sure many of us aren't...

No, a simple poll would be a simple question with two or three (or more) different answers. He needs to either add another negative option or remove one of the positive options. As it is he has split the positive option into two options while keeping the negative options as one option. The poll is therefore NOT scientific nor is it in any way tru or accurate. That is easy for anyone to see that has ever taken a real life poll (as in politics). I am not the one that started the poll. But, that does not mean that I cannot comment of the invalid nature of the poll.
And, this all started from some other thread where I mentioned that the people that I know out in the real world have been both pro-wrestling fans and MMA fans. I said that as my own experience. I added that I suspected or thought that this would be true of most MMA fans. It was not like I had detailed statistics to prove that, but Bomber decided to try to prove me wrong in this sort of poll that is just a BS poll.

It is not apparently me, because I never said that. In fact, I said that "Okay" was not a negative option but rather a positive option. What is the difference between saying something is "okay" (which is approval) and saying that something is "loved" (which is also approval)? Both are subjective and both can be interpreted many ways. However, by contrast, saying that something is "hated" has one clear meaning (disapproval).

You were very clear. So, don't back away from it now and hide from what you said. EVERYTHING is about drama. If you think that there is no soap opera or no drama in MMA, then you have not been watching MMA. Whether you like it or not, drama is everywhere in the media and in sports. The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat are what make sports entertaining. So, to say that you do not like drama is to say that you do not watch TV, movies, sports, or most anything else that is out there, even music. That whole soap opera BS tactic is a flimsy, weak point to make. It is easily shot down.

Ok, don't bother reading what you quoted of me...I'll just reiterate more concisely...none of the polls here are scientific, nor are they intended to so why bicker over the validity when none of the polls here are. And the choices are fine, there’s one positive, one negative and one neutral...enough said on this.

We are interpreting the questions differently. I take "Loved" as meaning approval, "OK" as meaning neutral, and "Hate" as disapproval...that’s why I have no problems with the questions.

Yes, everything has drama in it but at different levels… Jerry Springer has a hell of a lot more drama than Seinfeld...there are degrees in drama and "Pro-Wrestling" has a relatively high level...higher than MMA and other sitcoms...I call it a "man-soap opera" because its drama level seems commensurable with one.
Oh, and to reflect on one of your comments: If you’re insinuating that I’m a homophone or a homosexual, I’m neither of the two. Perhaps you need to look into yourself. Just the act of defending yourself so vigorously may suggest that your covering up the fact that you are a homosexual…or perhaps you saying “Even worse…being gay” suggests that you are a homophobe…

Because I like to bicker about the validity or lack there of in polls like this. The choices are not fine. There are two positive options and one negative option. There is a lot to be said about this. I think that you are so upset because you know that you are wrong. Just say you hate pro-wrestling for no reason and move on.

Ha!, if a person reading this had to choose which of us was upset, I believe the answer is you. I'm not upset, just stating merely facts and opinions...the choices are fine and I don't need to reiterate a thousand reasons why because you don’t get it...I don't like "pro wrestling" and I listed plenty of reasons why...If you choose not to read/misread them...that’s fine with me.

You are the one that went the way of relating pro-wrestling as a "man soap opera" which does not exist, and you tried to say that it was for gay people. That reflects on you, not me. I never said that pro-wrestling had a gender bias at all or any inclinations towards any particular sexual orientations. In fact, because I actually do watch pro-wrestling, I am far more aware of the fact that pro-wrestling appeals to a wide spectrum of people and that it is not marketed towards just men. Look at the audiences, and you will see plenty of females in those audiences.
So, you have some private issues to ponder. It is not my fault that you exposed THAT side of your life on a public forum.

Tried to say that it was for gay people...uhm can you quote me on that...haha not really...its no use reading your replies because its all nonsense, you mis-interpret what I write and your ignorance is reflective on you, not me...I'm done writing to you on this issue because it's simply a waste of time
