UFC ppv events in HD
Does anyone know IF/WHEN the UFC will offer the ppv fights in HD? Seems like if you are payong $40 for them, then they should be in HD.

By FCC law, every channel must be in HD by mid 2007, so everything will be HD by then. But I agree, i've had HD for a couple of years now and the only MMA that's in HD is on HDNET with the WEC and it's awesome.
I mean MMA in HD is THE WAY to go!! It's awesome!!!!!!

Do you use cable? ... HD is great...especially with any football game...I’d like to see a UFC card in HD for sure…

Not so sure about that.
Pretty positive the deadline has been pushed back until jan 1st, 2009. And even then everything doesn't have to be in HD, it has to be digital (DTV) by then. HDTV is just the highest grade of DTV.

The only MMA i can get in HD is IFL. MMA is great in high-def and always a treat. I sent an e-mail too the UFC website about 6 months ago regarding getting it in HD and never got a response. Kinda sucks  |

Ifc Inhd
YEah I get INHD through comcast, and they normally seem to have the UFC or IFC fights on like 3AM or something, and I use the DVR as I am not up at those hours.

Hmmm, I had heard they replay some UFC's, but since I've had HD (beginning of the summer, maybe last spring, something like that) I've yet to see one.
I'll have to be on the lookout.

Your best bet is to invest in a DVR. You can set it to record the MMA event. They usually come on late at night. You can get the listing of when the next events are to air if you go to their respective websites (ie. Hdnet, inhd).
