Ref takes out sore loser MMA fighter
This may be old, but I had not seen it before. That referee acted very quickly. It must be in some smaller promotion. I could not figure out which one it might have been. I wonder how the UFC or PRIDE would react to someone acting like this MMA fighter acted after the fight?Ref takes out sore loser MMA fighter - Video (2:15)

That's hillarious. Almost as good as when Phil Baroni tried to kick that one big john look-alike italian referree from his first fight with Tanner.
I hate sore losers, it's not the winner's fault you suck and can't finish and armbar and don't know how to do a leglock!
Then get your ass kicked by the referree with a RNC!

It looked like it took all of about three seconds for the guy to just pass out. That ref did the right thing there and its cool to see he was on top of his game or it could have turned into a large brawl.
Theres another clip out there where a ref pretty much choke slams a guy for trying to hit him. Ill try to find it and post it but Im sure you guys have already seen it.

Yeah I've seen that video, thats what I thought this one was gonna be but instead its the ref by RNC instead lol. The choke slam vid is way better. |

that second one must of been a smoker meet.
but in eather case, they should deffenatly be suspended, but trying to hit on a ref, that should be suspense or indifinatly spension and a possible fine. But, if I seen the second one on one of my events, i'd probably suspend and fine both the referee and the guy taking a swing at the ref... The ref should of been able to move and stay out of the way, maybe get security in there to do a restraint. A choke slam could get him and the sanctioning body in alot of trouble. But, it was a cool choke slam.
