Mark Kerr was seen in the corner of a fighter at a small MMA promotion. looks like he is done with fighting and possibly made the move to mentor. i know i would'nt mind having MArk in my corner if i was fighting.

I heard something bout him fighting James Thompson on the Pride NYE show.
I heard Coleman talk about him fighting Thompson in an interview.
I just saw the same interview maybe it is Coleman. My source for my comment was one of my friends who is a fan. He could have go it wrong.Originally Posted by [Danny]

I don't know man. I know Mark isn't much of a striker but James has a glass jaw.Originally Posted by Brandon_Dicken
not only that, but i think the years off could have only done good for mark.Originally Posted by angryjonny
I mean its given him time to sort through his personal problems and probably sharpen up on his stand up game. If he comes back I think (well hope) we'll see a more versatile focused mark kerr. I think mark might not be in his prime but still a worthy opponent for most of the guys in HW, just not sergei cro-cop and fedor etc...

i don't see Mark ever getting back in the ring, not in Pride anyway. his last fights have been very lackluster. his head just is'nt in it anymore, when he fought Heath Herring he had control on the ground the whole first round and did nothing but lay on top of Heath, no punches, no knees not even a submission attempt. maybe its best he just pass on what he knows to someone who is willing to learn.
