Soccer/Rugby betting
hey guys as its too much work for mods to be getting odds for all football and rugby matches we could use this place to make bets between ourselves on certain big games. once premiership season starts and rugby season(not sure if anybody else really follows this) or any other sport that goes for we can make little wagers.

I think Rugby have a World Cup either this year or next year. I havent the first idea about the sport, it makes as much sence as cricket does to me. But if Ireland are in it, I'll put a bet on them! Are Ireland any good?

The Rugby World Cup is later this year, in France. Ireland are very good, contenders for the triophy, but definitely not the favourites.
Favourites are easily New Zealand. New Zealand will win for sure.

it starts in september, new zealand are huge favourates but as they have been for the last 2/3 world cups, and today they showed they aint as unbeatable as thought as they lost a close game to australia in the tri nations,
oh mike, ur team is a very decent team, althou they seemed to peak a little to early as they was ranked 2nd in world at one point but seem to be strugglin this year, france will be a gud bet as they host country and on they day can beat anyone.

Heres an update on the soccer (football) / Rubgy betting that I am planning on running for the forums.
I am planning on putting as many events up as I can, but there will be a small window for you guys to bet in, like a day or less. The odds just dont get released very far ahead of the matches.
Also, AND HERE IS THE CATCH, I am most likely making all these events in the vip section of the forums.
Before you guys get bent out of shape about that, there is plenty of time to save the points to get entrance into that section.
Ive got two basic reasons for this decision:
1) This forum is for combat sports and as such, the primary vbookie events should be related to fighting and combat sports. Those are open to every member of the forums. Other sports shouldnt be taking over or becoming the majority of the vbookie events in my opinion.
2) The football / rugby bets are probably going into the vip section because, well, I think that the VIP section deserves it. The members have paid their dues and have paid their points in order to get into that section and so that section should have somehting special to offer.
Now, I will still put up a match here and there for the entire forums but no where near the amount that will be in the vip section.
Any questions concerning this, just PM me and ill explain as best I can.
