Stinks to have to bet so much to win so little with the Steelers. Maybe I'll just take a chance on the over/under.
Here is an observation on the matchup from yahoo: The AFC North-leading Pittsburgh Steelers are unbeaten at Heinz Field this season and have not lost a Monday night game at home in more than 16 years.
That probably won't be enough to deter the defending division champion Baltimore Ravens, who annihilated Pittsburgh twice last season.
The Steelers look to avenge those losses and pad their division lead when they host the Ravens, who are trying to come out recharged after stumbling into their bye.
Pittsburgh (5-2) is sitting atop the AFC North, but has company as Baltimore (4-3) and Cleveland (4-3) are just one game back.
"I'm pleased we're in that position, that we can play a game on Monday night for the lead in the division," Ravens coach Brian Billick said. "Am I satisfied with 4-3? Of course not."
Baltimore already has matched its loss total from last season when it won the division with a 13-3 record. That included a 27-0 home rout of the Steelers and a 31-7 win in Pittsburgh.

Thanks Bayou. I wasn't gonna touch this game with a 10 foot pole, but that little article made me change my mind.
Dont let the Steelers MNF perfection fool you. Brett Favre hadnt won a MNF game in 6 seasons and threw that awesome game winning in OT TD pass last MOnday.
I think Magic will occur again tonight with The Ravens.

I always like betting on Monday Night games, but I really can't get myself to put a bet on this game.

Ravens odds are really good...but I can see the Steelers offense being able to score more on the Ravens D then the Ravens scoring on the Steelers #1 ranked D.

Beware the Ravens secondary if you're thinking about taking them in this game. Rolle is out and Mcalister probably isnt playing either. The Ravens defense has always been succeptible to the long pass and I think Roethlisberger, Hines Ward and Santonio Holmes have a big game. The Ravens always play the Steelers close, and have McNair back and offensive line starters back but, as much as it pains me to say, I think Baltimore drops behind the Cleveland Browns in the division tonight.

I don't think the Ravens offense will score enough points on the Steelers to win this game. As WorkingStiff said their secondary is also suffering. So I say the Steelers take this one rather easily.

This game was primed and set to be an easy call for betting the under...2 top defenses playing in the rain...usually very low scoring games...except when you cough the ball up as many times as the Ravens...they looked terrible this season on primetime…

They always look bad on nationally televised games (excluding their Championship season) Doesn't bode well for their Monday Night match-up with the Pats. Homefield probably isn't going to help them much in that game...
