Thanks Jras, I'll be sure to bet on my Redskins.

RIP Sean Taylor.

It's because of that that I have no idea how to be that game.

I hope they play more intense or with more heart, but its never easy losing a close friend or team mate for that matter. That said, I hope they find another saftey as good as Taylor.

sheesh...betting the spread is tough. I guess I'm liking the over in the chargers/chiefs game.

Well, guys, get used to the spread because Im including it in all the rest of the NFL bets this season. The reason is because, even at .15 odds, no one will bet against people like the colts or the pats and people are basicly getting free points. However, the spread makes it a bit more sporting and makes you actually think about the game, whos playing, the injuries, the weather, and all other aspects of it to try to come up with a winner. Much more fun in my opinion.

I like the spread idea. I never guess the spread right, so I tend to avoid that. But, there is a risk there that makes it challenging. That alone should be worth at least a token points bet.

I LOVE the spread. Ya like Jras said, you can dump 2 mil on the Pats vs Eagles, and not worry to much, but with a spread; everyone would be a lot less rich lol

I get it guys but let's not act like vegas doesn't offer a money line. It's the money line that has probably gotten more people into trouble thinking it was just a "token" pick.

Anyway...I plan on being a millionaire by the end of the year with the spread so bring it on.

Upsets happen though. If they really were free points then everybody on FF would go all in each and every week, but they don't because there is still some risk involved. Perhaps the oddsmakers have the odds wrong for the Pats if they are .15 (i.e. I don't think they had a 15% chance of losing). The recent games the Giants/Cardinals lost as big favorites are examples that anything can happen in sports. Anyway, that's just my opinion. Any NFL betting is great, and I can understand why people prefer the spread.

Does this mean the Jets can only win by one? Or is it anything over one?

Is the payout correct on the Bills/Redskins? Redskins were 6.5 favorites and lost straight up? Similar to the Jags/Colts game which Colts were 7 pt favorites but only won by 4 pts?

Why is my parlay Washington bets still open on Bodog? Usually if a team in your parlay loses, they take their cash and close you bet within minutes of the loss.

I say let it ride.
