I'm a man that believes in destiny. I think the 'skins are destined to win at least one game to make the whole Taylor death come full circle. The Seahawks are the least talked about team in the playoffs. I think there is a reason for that. If the 'Skins lose, it should be close.

My pick
Take the 'Skins and the points.
Well I agree with your pick, but not with the whole destiny thing...It is extremely hard to play at Seattle. It is one of the loudest stadiums to play in (even though it isn't a dome!) and there have been accusations of speakers playing crown noise in the stands. However, this Redskins team is playing with tremendous momentum heading into the playoffs. It is usually a good bet to pick the team that has the momentum. The Redskins are playing well on both sides of the ball and Todd Collins has a 106 QB rating! However it isn't hard to make a case for Seattle either. This is the playoffs and anything could happen, but the team that is more likely to win would be the Redskins, slightly.

The Colts are accused of the same thing about playing crowd noise on the speakers.

Maybe I'm biased, but I can't believe anyone even gave the Redskins a chance. Seattle is 25-7 at Qwest Field since it opened, and I think only one of those losses was a playoff game. Bottom line is teams don't usually beat the Seahawks at home. Not to mention I feel like the Seahawks are just a better team all around, especially on defense this year.
Next week is a different story though. The Seahawks struggle on the road and Green Bay has been on fire big time. And of course we can't forget what Matt Hassellbeck said after the overtime coin toss last time we played GB at Lambeau. I hope he doesn't try anything like that again. I'm nervous for this game :\

I'm surprised at all the Redskins backing too. Sure they played well in December but I think people got caught up in the whole feel-good-story line.
Todd Collins looked good leading up to this game but he's been playing teams with suspect secondaries leading up to this one. Tough road trip for Washington so the outcome was no shock.

This was a very close game leading into the 4th quarter. In fact, the Redskins managed to have a 1 point lead. However the Todd Collins of the past 4 games forgot to show up, especially in the 4th quarter giving up 2 interceptions for TD returns. As for him playing suspect secondaries leading to this one, that is not completely accurate. Sure the Bears and Vikings secondaries were weak, but the Cowboys and Giants secondaries are ranked higher then the Seahawks.
I'm not surprised with the outcome, this game (and really most playoff games) it is easy to make a case for either team. However, going into the playoffs with momentum is usually the good pick. Unfortunately for the Redskins, the momentum couldn't get them a win.

I guess we see it differently - the Cowboys were suspect....they were resting several of their players on D and even more as the game went on.

Well Washington got on the board early, against the starters of the Cowboys. A case could be made that the Cowboys had no motivation, but why speculate? The Giants pass defense is ranked above average as is the Cowboys. From your original post is seemed that you thought that the Redskins offense wasn't tested and that's where I would disagree.
