I think this will be a lot closer than the spread. So I'll definitely be putting some on the Jags.

Although the Patriots defense is good, they have been exposed (mostly in the running game) over the past 5 weeks. Going up against the second best tandem in the league is going to be a challenge. The Jaguars defense is playing very well but they had a problem last week getting pressure when blitzing. Going up against an offensive line like the Patriots doesn't bode well for the Jags rush. Allowing Brady time to read a defense is not a good thing if you're the Jags. In the end I like the Patriots to win, but not to cover.

What an exciting game…the Jags kept it close throughout and had some impressive (and very long) drives against an ageing Pats D. Both QB's played very well throughout, keeping their team in the game. In the end Brady played at a high level more consistently then Garrard. Also the tandem of RB's for Jax didn't gain enough yards on the ground to control the clock. Maroney had a great game and was an integral part in the Patriots win today. Luckily they didn't cover the spread :P

Interesting, probably its that high now because the Chargers are pretty banged up ATM and there is uncertainty about a few key players for the Chargers...
