Oh come on, don't say that. I haven't seen countdown to UFC 80 yet. I was hoping it would show BJ smoking pot and eating loads of pies, lol.

I know the sensible money is on BJ ,but he's so undpredictable. Don't get me wrong, betting just short of 900,000 is just plain daft. I'm sure I can get the points back in another year or so if i lose them

BJ's rockin the 6 pack man. I don't think there is much chance of him gassing early.

I think a good bet will be Colin Robinson. He is 3 to 1 underdog and he almost defeated Eddie Sanchez. Hardonk is not so great on the ground either...

The odds were good, Stevenson has had more fights and in my opinion is a physically stronger fighter and I think BJ will have problems submitting him.

I know BJ is one of the most naturally gifted fighters in the UFC, but I am guessing/hoping he thinks the gift is enough to win and not actually put the correct amount of training in that he should.

It will sting a bit if BJ wins, but as long as it's a good fight, I won't mind as much.
Are you going to UFC80 mate? Its not too far for you....

Ey up Mulla.

It's the first one in quite a while that i'm not going to. I should have bought tickets really, as it's only about an hour and a half drive there. I have already paid for Setanta, so am gonna watch it on there instead. What about you?

BJ Penn looks good in that picture. I hope that he comes into this match with Joe Stevenson as well prepared as Penn did against Jens Pulver last summer. Penn looks kind of small standing behind Joe Lauzon.

NOt to be nosy, but Gazbrook, you put 890,000 on Stevenson, or was that and accidental extra 0?

Lol.

Cause degenerate gamblers like me will take that as you knowing something and me doing something nutty like puttin 1 mil on him!

Oh wow, I'm loving Eklund's odds.
Guy's no joke.

Werdum's odds are pretty nice as well, for someone fighting a guy he's beaten before.
That said, I think GG will take that one.

I'm not betting on BJ with those odds.

Will this payout when the event is over around like 5 or something. Isn't it on at 3. Or is it going to payout after.

It will payout when I get to it, likely not until Sunday morning. If you are concerned about spoilers, don't visit this thread until Sunday around noon at the earliest.
