Don't look now. But last night on NFL network, they had about 2 hours of coverage talking only about how good the Giants chances are.

They had Terrell Davis, Marshall Faulk, Marty Morningweg, Keyshawn Johnson all in rather interesting agreement that if Jacobs and Bradshaw get going?

They can blow up that NE Patriots Defense. And if Plaxico gets going?

The Giants can win. I thought I was dreaming, but I found it i nteresting that many experts in agreement that the Giants have a decent chance at this thing whereas everyone else is simply not even talking about them.

Should be a good game

Many of the experts are doing what they normally do:

1) Overthinking the outcome
2) Picking the underdog. That way if they aren't right they can say "well, they weren't expected to win" and if they are right they can say "see...I told you! I told you!"

I used to love watching all the analysis but now it annoys me.

*I'm sure I'll still watch the pregame tomorrow

Patriots 34-14

Cool

Hey, in the Super Bowl for the Dolphins perfect season, the Dolphins were the underdogs. They spoke about that on ESPN yesterday. I think that it was Jim Rome is Burning or Around the Horn. Imagine that, the undefeated team was the underdog. Now, there is no way that the Patriots could be called an underdog. if they win, then everybody expected that (pretty much all of us, I guess, LOL). If the Giants win, then it will be a Moment in NFL History. It'll be a "Shot heard around the world" moment.

We all saw the week 17 game...that's enough to give the Giants a decent shot.

2.5 million...very nice Good Luck

Lets not fool our selves here. This is the Super Bowl. Its going to be a blowout. This is the second time the Pats have seen the Giants. It won't be close.

Patriots 38 Giants 10

Gawd damn I hate betting on the Patriots.
If they lose then it will be worth the points. If they win, then I at least gain 250 points off of it.

I am in no way a Giants fan. In fact I dislike Eli very much for his draft antics. But....as always, I'll root for the underdog.
It's to bad Tiki retired last season. Bet he's kicking himself now.

Tiki was an asset for the Giants in the sense that he had good numbers...but he was poison for the team...the best thing that happened for unifying the G-Men is Tiki leaving...with Tiki, the G men would most likely NOT be in the SB.

Mustang, you've always been IMO the NFL expert here and now also Harms this year (although I disagree with the SB being a blowout simply based on The Pats past performances in the SB vs lesser NFC champs).

And that is the most accurate statement that I knew even when Barber was with us in 2000.

Barber is an attention hog, a reject draft pick that got his due later and then made himself "THE TEAM". A man who forgot where he came from.

This year if you really look at Giants production, of course you look defense first, but then you look at the play of?

Their rookies.

Just outstanding. Simply outstanding and why I think they may pull this whole thing off.

This is what stands out to me.

Tiki Barber was 5'9 200 lbs and averaged 1000 yards a season the last 6 years he was with the Giants.

Freakin his replacement? Brandon Jacobs?

6'4, 265, WAS INJURED 5 games this season?

And still rushed for 1009 yards in his first year as the first option back.

That is IN SANE in the MEM BRANE.

Eli will remember he is Eli and lose this game for the Giants. I just don't see how the Giants will keep this close.
