When Diaz is replaced in the betting, I will make my bets.

BTW, off topic but which events do ProElite.com stream?

This Cung Le/Shamrock fight is the only one where I'm willing to get conspiratorial about things. I think somewhere, there is this unwritten under the table agreement that you can't take Le down. He's fought decent grapplers before and none of them so much as made any real effort to shoot on Le.

Now if Shamrock decides to simply stand with Le? This will confirm my theory. I'm thoroughly convinced that if Shamrock takes this to the ground? It will be a short night for Le.

I'm kinda with Ramage on this one in his Inside The MMA jab at Le. It's a fight. Some fighters go in to spin around and jump around, some go in to just fight. I'm sorry to say, but I havent seen Le just fight yet. And against Shamrock? He's going to have to.

I really don't know where to go on this fight though in all honesty. Two fighters with impeccable reputations as far as fighters. But also two who are used to getting their way one way or the other.

Diaz is out for sure! WTF! This sounds like some BS to me, can't wait to see how it pans out.

Then be prepared Krav. I have no doubt that Frank is going to stand with him. Sure, he's very accomplished on the ground, but his forte has never been to initiate a takedown to get the fight to the ground. From his days in Pancrase to the UFC to his Strikeforce run, Frank always has complete confidence in his standup. He really feels that once he starts dominating Le's in standup, Le will be the one to take him down. And from there he'll sub him. I am 100% sure you will not see Frank initiate a takedown of any kind unless he gets hurt or is dramatically losing the standup.

You're right and therin lies the conundrum.

I'm gonna sleep on this a day and place my bets tomorrow maybe.

Diaz bets have been returned. Fickett-Lim odds added.

A little patience please. The official odds for Fickett-Lim were just released this morning.

Good question on the weigh ins. Probably online somewhere because I checked my Showtime schedule and I can't even find a countdown show for this.

200K on Cung Le, just because I've tired of Shamrock's constant yapping.

1,000K on El Nino. This is almost a lock.

100K on Lim. Fickett is a much easier opponent for Lim than Diaz, yet the odds are not that much different. Not enough respect being given to Lim IMO. Fickett is vey tough, but Lim has the potential to be a star.

Yup, other than the obvious lesser opponent...I bet Melendez is extra motivated after that New Year's "wrestling match" loss to Ishida.

Still going with Cung by DQ. What's the line on Controversial Outcome? Yes (0.10)

True - I don't really know all that much about Lim but he's a great value with those odds.

LOL! I wouldn't be suprized if it is a DQ tomorrow that ends the fight. Shammy such a sore loser.

Nice betting there Gygax! 1.3mil on the line, nice!

Agree with Gygax on Melendez, so I threw in 400k. I'll pick Goshn for my upset of the night, I've always liked him and he's always unpredictable.

I can't help but think this is the type of fight Frank Shamrock shows up for that shows just how great he is. Extremely explosive, ready for anything. I know he acts like a dip verbally, but as a fighter? This is the type of fight he takes personally and usually shows up big for.

So I'll go with him.

This is the Shammy I think we'll see tomorrow.
