Oh no I did bet on the Cowboys, forgot that they just stopped the Colts last week. Now everyone will be placing bets on the Cowboys this week, which means the shot callers fr Las Vegas will make sure the Cowboys LOOSE this week. Can anyone imagine, only 2 national games on TV, and eveyone 's putting their money on the Cowboys ... hopping the bets coming in won't be so much lopsided, then Cowboys might get a chance to play out a real game.
*edit : I just now remember, the actual money betting line fr Vegas, is Cowboys -10.5 pts, which means the Cowboys could still win the game with a difference less than 10 pts total, over the total of the other team. So as far as straight betting pts wise without the point spreads, should be viewed as an even game, except those who bets with Vegas money line.. there's also a high/low betting line, which I won't go into since it is also for Vegas money bets, and Teaser, and quarterly bets..

Yes how about them. Although it was just the Bucs. Good win though.
How about them Chiefs though? Jake Plummer now 0-6 at Arrowhead. Which I love seeing, man I hate that guy.
We made some huge mistakes that took away some points, Champ also got away with what should have been a huge pass interference call and we still got the win.

That is true. I am not a Jake Plummer fan either.
I will be happy if the Cowboys make the playoffs. But, I do not see them as NFC champions and definately not Super Bowl champions. I like Romo. The team needed a new leader, and Romo seems to be that guy. In my mind, it would be a year from now before the Cowboys would be championship material. But, they did look good last Sunday and today.

I don't know man. I wasn't sold on the Cowboys at first but it seems like Romo really is coming into his own there. I am still wondering if the Colts game was a fluke but I am starting to think it wasn't. I know winning against the Bucs isn't the biggest feat ever but it was total domination like it should have been. They seemed ready to get the game over with in the second quarter.
I honestly think you guys have a good chance of going far in the playoffs. I wouldn't be surprised to see Dallas or Chicago the NFC champs.

If the Cowboys can take it to the Giants I think they will have the NFC East title...the Cowboys have a great defense and a great offense for the time being...the Giants are a little banged up, so I think this is perfect timing for the Cowboys to pull ahead and win their division...what will the post season bring--who knows? It depends what they are ranked at the end...but if Romo can keep up his stellar performance, the Cowboys can make it to at least an NFC title shot.

I'm just waiting for Cutler to be unleashed...It's only a matter of time...Good job by the Chiefs...I wasn't able to see the game but I was watching the scoreboard on ESPN from time to time...did anything exciting happen at the end because, correct me if I’m mistaken, I thought DEN was at the Chiefs 10 yard line when it was 13-10 Chiefs--what happened?

I'm wondering about Cutler too. If he does play I hope he chokes and puts them out of playoff contention. But you have to remember who you're talking to.
There wasn't a time where they were that close to making a TD though. They were only in the redzone a few times and we had the lead the entire game and they never threatened to take the lead when they got it within 6. There was the time when Pat Surtain got the INT and ran it back but it got turned over off a pretty lame call. Walls got called for illegal contact on about barely over 5 yards and it was on the other side of the field. I guess you have to call it when they break the rules though but they drove down after the play was called back and that is the only time they got close to the end zone. It's just frustrating because after that Champ got away with blatant interference on Kennison, he was behind Eddie and pulled both his arms back causing the ball to hit him in the chest and fall to the ground. That would have put us in the red zone and put the nail in the coffin there. But then the next drive Trent was doing great driving down about 70 yards but threw his only pick. Then our defense held them to punt and then we drove down again with another good drive and got another field goal. Denver had the ball with 2 minutes to score 9 and they turned it over on downs. It was a pretty exciting game though. I hope Denver self destructs from here on out.

It would be nice to see Denver self destruct to like an 8-8 or 9-7 record...I never liked Denver since the 1998 AFC title game against the Jets...Plummer reminds me of Bledsoe in some ways...if they are both on, they can be pretty good...but when they suck...they really suck …

It would be nice to see the Dolphins beat the Jaguars next week but there is no way they are making the playoffs…they still have to play the Patriots and Colts…not to mention the Jets who have been owning the Dolphins for like the past 10 years…but I would like to see them add another loss to Jacksonville
