I truely hope that DLH pulls this victory out. I think that Mayweather, if he wins, will retire undefeated as a pro boxer and I think thats a shame. He never did fight all of the top tier opponents of his weight class all the while wanting to be known as the best PfP fighter and the best fighter ever. It just doesnt seem right that he would be able to be mentioned in the same sentence as Rocky Marciano.
1000 on DLH by KO, TKO, or DQ
1000 on under 11.5 rounds
7-1 odds are too good to lay off

PFP imo is mayweather allday, champion in 3 weight classes says it all.you gotta beat the best to become the best and his resume speaks for it self.
Using that logic, what does champion in 6 weight classes mean?
I still think PBF is the favorite, as do most, but using your logic about beating the best to be the best, take a look at this. DLH has been the world champion in 6 different weight divisions and beat former and current world champions Troy Dorsey (TKO 1), Jorge Paez, (KO 2), Genaro Hernandez (TKO 6), John John Molina (W 12), Rafael Ruelas (TKO 2), Julio César Chávez (TKO 4, TKO 8), Miguel Angel Gonzalez (W 12), Jesse James Leija (TKO 2), Pernell Whitaker (W 12), Hector "Macho" Camacho (W 12), Ike Quartey (W 12), Arturo Gatti (TKO 5), Javier Castillejo (W 12), and Fernando Vargas (TKO 11).
Hands down, DLH has a much better career fight card than PBF. He has losses which PBF has not, so that certainly sets them apart. But if you're saying the fact that Mayweather has been champ in 3 weight classes is what sets him apart from De La Hoya, that's false.

Very true....I just hope De La Hoya can netrulize PBF speed and if he does he will have a very good chance in KO'ing him.
I find it somewhat difficult to believe that this fight could possibly live up to the hype. If it does, its only because PBF tries to take advantage of this opportunity to gain some fans and actually tries to finish DLH. With Floyd talking about retirement and the fact I think he's a little more concerned with his place in boxing history than gaining legions of fans, I expect Floyd to fight smart/cautious and work his way to a UD. I hope to christ I'm wrong and DLH plants his ass with the most brutal left hook a human has ever thrown. Here's to hoping...
