Is anyone else kinda surprised that Gatti is the favorite?

A lot of people have Baldomir ranked pretty high in his division. I think it would be cool if Gatti won, but I don't think he will. Baldomir might be getting overlooked a little by the oddsmakers.

I think this is one of those cases where you see that the books put out a line based on what people are going bet, not who is necessarily more likely to win. No doubt that Gatti has more fans and is more likely to have people rooting/betting on him compared to Carlos. I think the line should be a little closer, but Gatti's really not favored by much.

LE is right. The line is based on the potential betting pool. Gatti is vastly more popular with fans, one of the premier draws in boxing today, while Baldomir was basically an unknown until he beat Judah. Some might say Judah was looking past Baldomir to the already signed Mayweather fight, but Carlos really took it to Judah and in the experts mind, is likely the real favorite in this fight, regardless of what the line is.

I like gatti by decision or a late round ko. Baldomir looked solid vs Judah and yeah Judah may have looked by him but you got to think Gatti isn't lookin by him cause gatti is getting towards the end of his title shots (and i am a big gatti fan but his days are gettin numbered) but looked forward to the fight should be a solid one.
