ROUND 5:
Mayweather lands a strong right at the start of the round. De La Hoya tries an overhand right and then uses a combination to send Mayweather to the ropes. Mayweather lands a couple of body shots and then a left hook. Floyd misses a left uppercut and then paws with the left jab. Floyd lands a couple of big punches to the head as Oscar tries to get his opponent in a corner. Oscar lands some punches over the top of the head, but Floyd comes back with big punches, landing near the head. Mayweather lands a big right to the cheek. Mayweather has a strong round.

Oscar lands some body shots backing Floyd to a corner. Mayweather, undaunted, comes right back and lands two left hooks to the body. Mayweather misses two big overhand rights. Mayweather hit across the head by Oscar. De La Hoya lands a left jab and then tries a combination, which is covered by Floyd. Mayweather lands a left hook, but De La Hoya lands a punch. Mayweather land two punches, but Oscar comes back as the two box in close quarters to end the round.

Round 11 - Floyd now targeting the body. Floyd to the head and body. Floyd jabbing. Floyd again to the head and body. Floyd just blasting Oscar now to the head and body. Oscar appears to be tired and Mayweather is now punishing him. Oscar misses a flurry. Floyd seriously outboxing De La Hoya right now. Oscar with a hard right hand, but Floyd never lets him follow up. Round for Floyd.

ROUND 11:
Mayweather continues to defend well, although he has to duck away from a punch. De La Hoya looks to be a bit tired, although he lands a few body shots. Mayweather lands a shot to the face with his right, albeit a small punch. De La Hoya can't seem to get a big punch in that will hurt Mayweather. The speed of Mayweather continues to plague De La Hoya. De La Hoya lands a couple of punchs to the face and lands a big right that snaps back his opponent's head.

Round 12 - Combo by Floyd as Oscar rushes in. Floyd combos and lands a hard right. Oscar goes to the body. Floyd to the head and body. The two begin to trade in the final minute but Mayweather is landing the crisper and cleaner shots. They begin to trade plenty of power shots for the final ten seconds and Oscar now getting the better of the exchange. I gave the final round to De La Hoya.
HBO gave the final round to De La Hoya. HBO has Mayweather winning 116-112, I have Mayweather winning. Official scores coming up.
ROUND 12:
De La Hoya lands some punches, but is defended well for Mayweather. This round is going by way of one that isn't as active yet, but De La Hoya, seemingly desperate, lands a couple of punches to the body. De La Hoya lands a punch to the head as Floyd is back into a corner. Floyd punches out. De La Hoya is hit in the face with a small right. The fighters tie up, but Floyd doesn't seem hurt by the punches. De La Hoya lands a right to the face as the fighters scrap with big punches even after the buzzer. Both smile as the fight ends.
