HBO gave the final round to De La Hoya. HBO has Mayweather winning 116-112, I have Mayweather winning. Official scores coming up.
ROUND 12:
De La Hoya lands some punches, but is defended well for Mayweather. This round is going by way of one that isn't as active yet, but De La Hoya, seemingly desperate, lands a couple of punches to the body. De La Hoya lands a punch to the head as Floyd is back into a corner. Floyd punches out. De La Hoya is hit in the face with a small right. The fighters tie up, but Floyd doesn't seem hurt by the punches. De La Hoya lands a right to the face as the fighters scrap with big punches even after the buzzer. Both smile as the fight ends.
The Sports Network gives the round to Mayweather, 10-9.
The Sports Network has the bout to Mayweather, 115-113.

I guess De La Hoya will never win a close big name fight in Vegas. I think it was a draw, but so close. It's sucks that all of these close fights DLH gets the short end on. Mosely, Trinidad, and Now Ugly A$$ Floyd.

dammit.
PBF is a loser and doesn't deserve to win. i'm glad he is retiring and i hope i don't hear his name again.
also i should say this is not fighter bashing, i know him personally.
edit: someone asked if i called him another word for ignorant people, it starts with an "N". no that is not what i wrote. i wrote A hole.

i don't agree with it. most of his punches were blocked. i don't care how many punches you throw, if you don't land them then they didn't count.

Yeah just figures it would go PBF's way; I mean if your arrogant, act like a jackass, and dissrespect your opponent ,you win if it is a close call. He sure deserves the break over Mr. Class Act. I guess I am taking this too hard; just wanted to see PBF eat his words.
Oh and now he wants to retire, after he fights and wins a fight agaisnt Oscar who is out of his prime but still makes a good fight of it. I want him to fight Antonio Margarito now so his big mouth would get shut up. But the $$$ fight was Oscar. PBF dont want Margarito b/c he knows he would get his a$$ handed to him.

Floyd Sr. gave the fight to Oscar, based on points. I gave say it was a draw. Floyd got exposed, everybody thought he is some kind of p4p monster, who would obliterate Oscar. None of that happened. Oscar was hitting Floyd, Floyd got on his bicycle and started running. This is something everybody knew he would do. I admit, Floyd landed some good looking punches, which wouldnīt have hurt a fly, but he did look good at it. But it was his defense, that kept him from getting knocked out. If Floyd retires now, he will retire undefeated, but everybody knows that DLH gave him a fight that could have gone either way.
All in all, it wasnīt a fight that lived up to the hype. Is it rematch worthy? Not sure, I donīt see fight being any different a second time around, unless Oscar comes out and puts that jab out there more often. However, a prime Oscar would have beaten this p4p Mayweather, and Floyd knows it.

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This SUCKS. I do not follow boxing in the least bit at all but I really really did want DLH to win this fight. From what I could tell he was nothing but a class act.
