Default Miranda/Green Cotto/Urkal

Should be a great fight between Miranda and Green. Not so hot about Cotto and Urkal. Cotto should win easily. I'm looking ahead to his next fight against Judah.

Miranda v Green should be a blazer!! Fight of the year candidate! Not gonna be Hopkins v Wright in terms of strategy and tactics, but they both always come to fight! Weird to see a fight like this today in boxing. Two guys with big futures going against each other at this stage of their careers! I hope they set an example!! I cant predict here! But a KO will happen!

Cotto/Urkal
Cotto could have his hands full! I'd fancy Urkal here if it weren't for his age! I'd say Cotto by UD but Urkal having the early rounds!!

Harris said he wanted no walk-in music so he could enjoy the atmosphere in the arena better. In both fights, the audience booed him. I was so pissed and happy Vivian won both fights.

Is Urkal a big favourite over there?? The Klitschkos are like adopted Germans by now! Cotto is a funny one! I remember two years ago there was huge hype about him which faded after the Torres fight! He is always overlooked IMO as a top welterweight

Urkal is a four to one underdog here ... for a reason, Cotto is much better at this point.

What the heck happened? Did they throw in the towel because of the second point deduction?

Urkal was deducated another point for a headbutt, then Wegner seized the moment by throwing in the towel (waving with it). He later on explained for Oktay the fight was over and there was no need for him to get beaten up even more.
In my view the bout was extremely boring.

The open scoring does take away from the suspense (not that everyone didn't know who was winning this fight). The Cotto fight was ho hum, but I enjoyed the Miranda fight. Great 12th round. Too bad he didn't get a KO, he only needed 10 more secs.

Yeah the Cotto fight was imo a boring match and I am not a fan of open point scoring....
