This is a crock of lies. Foreman must not be making enough money selling grills these days so he has to come up with some massive PR stunt to launch a book about why all of his kids are named George or whatever.

Exactly, wouldn't this be something you would mention shortly after the fight! or protest the fight because of it.
He was slipped something so potent that he spit it out and it still worked that well?
I don't know about Foreman, I remember years ago he fought Bobby Czyz and czyz's eyes were red as anything about 3 rounds in and he was complaining Forman had something on his gloves....but of course it was a HBO fight so their boy couldn't lose and when Czyz couldn't copntinue Foreman won the fight!

I dont personally believe that it happened but with boxing, imagining something like that happening isnt too far fetched.

Foreman waited 33 years to say this lie about Ali, because would have kicked his a** for it.

I doubt Foreman is hard up for money, but it's to bad he's claiming it now instead of 33 years ago. However, it doesn't sound like he's claiming that Ali's camp drugged him.

I'm feel really bad about all this! Foreman is one of my favourite fighters of all time. I hope he doesn't tarnish his legacy by coming out with all this! It has to be bollocks! A pro athlete complaining about something as serious as this, that cost him the Biggest fight of his life, dare say the biggest event in the history of sport, after 33 years?? There hasnt been a single person who has stepped forward to back him up

He thinks he was drugged because the water tasted funny and because he gassed. LOL! He was in the Congo, the water probably contained some sort of antibacterial treatment so he wouldn't get dysentry. And up to then he'd only fought past three rounds a couple of times. He always gassed after the third, even when he wasn't caught up in Ali's rope-a-dope. That's what the rope-a-dope was, a successful attempt to have George punch himself out and gas.
Foreman didn't protest at the time, and he never asked for a rematch. This is total BS.
