Prince Naseem
Does anyone know what happened to him? Aside from the court case. I assume he's lost since his winning streak. How did it happen?

Well, he has not fought in five years. He is kinda fat right now.
Lost to Barrera after being hyped BIG.

Never cared for him. Could not stand his fighting style and knew once he got in with an elite boxer he would lose. He did however have some very heavy hands.

Yeah, but when he fought Augie Sanchez and was dancing a little during his walk in he reminded me of the scene in "The Super" when Joe Pesci is standing in the doorway watching the party.

His best fight was his first fight on HBO when he fought Kevin Kelly. I think their was something like 5 knockdowns combined before he went on to win.

I just thought his run of first round knock downs, along with unnerving his opponent was similar to chuck. But obviously chuck isn't cocky, or over-hyped.

From what I have seen of him he is a very cocky, fairly dirty fighter. The fight that comes to mind is when he was slamming his opponent to the mat while the ref did nothing. He does look like he had some skills though I guess.

That's what makes him unique, very cocky but not to the point where he would fail. He got into a car accident by showing off he mclaren though...

Well the tradgedy with Naz is that he lost his hunger once he beat steve robinson for the title. Brendan Ingle(Naz's trainer) said that the max he would train for opponents after that was about 3 rounds! He was awesome in my opinion, so exciting so strong, but abit like tyson, the way he lost the plot.

i was told that 911 had alot to do with naseems not fighting in the USA....his entrances and very pro-islam stuff made him unmarketable here...i'm sure there were other factors.....

What a waste of talent.... his cockiness got the best of him. the guy had some awkward angles for his punches, but was a hell of a puncher IMO.
Its too bad once he became champ that he lost his hunger.
Still, Barrera boxed him stupid.
like I said... a waste.... a personality like him still doing well would have been great for boxing. he was ridiculous out the ring and ridiculous in the ring... unlike certain boxers who want to play the bad guy

I always hated him, and couldnt stand his style or anything really to be honest, but so enjoyed the match he fought some south american guy after a huge over the top walk in, then got his ass kicked.
And thanks to his ego, the guy at the receiving end of that car accident got his life completely destroyed and has to enjoy constant pain, where as Naseem got a light sentence, hit the bench press and went deeper into Islam.
A PoS of a human being if you ask me.

I never liked him. Like many of you have stated his freaky dancing running style. However, the times he did get into trouble, suddenly he has this stupid grin on his face like he's asking the guy not to kick his ass.
Plus I didnt like him bringing his religion into the ring the way he did that one time. I dont mind you giving your thanks to a God of your choice, but he did it in an insulting way towards others.
Screw him!
