Default My boxing career (?!?) - updates!

I hate the way everything seems to be developing.
My "team" wants me to fight at lightheavyweight although I am clearly too big for that. At this point, I am a natural cruiserweight (5'11'', 190-195 lbs.) and could easily make heavyweight. They won't listen, though, saying I was too small and too inexperienced to fight the big monsters.
I was down to 182 and felt unhealthy, weak. Had no pop on my punches and lacked confidence. Right now I am at around 190 and feel much better.
At this point, I am looking for possible replacements. Either it is done the way I want it, or it will not be done at all.

I dont blame you Bull. Its not them stepping into the ring to fight, you are. You have to do what feels comfortable and right to you, not anyone else. Id replace the entire camp if I had if it were me. Good luck and keep us posted on your fights as well as maybe some fight clips.

That sucks, Bull. Tough it out for a bit, though. They're probably talking from experience, and you may like the help they've given you later.

I see your point but I still think that one knows their own body better than anyone else. Obviously if you felt you weren't feeling good at Light Heavyweight, then DO NOT fight there. It makes no sense. I, however, do agree with your "Team" saying that Heavyweight MAY be too much. You do know your body better than anyone else but if you feel good at Cruiserweight, it's better to be BIG in a smaller weight class than SMALL in a bigger weight class, in my opinion.

Either way, my best wishes "Toro!"

I'm sure once he gets more used to cutting he may feel better. But he's right, Bull. It is your body, and you know it better than anyone else.

Bull for HW champ.
