OMG! Cotto v Mosely!
This year has been crazy! We are getting huge fights, Bob arum just officially announced another one!
Sugar Shane Mosely will fight Migel Cotto Nov 10 at the Garden! I wanna go to this now as well! Mosely is one of my favourite fighters! Technically brilliant, and a joy to watch if you are a student of the game. Cotto is one of the most promising prospects in years. Demolition of highly rated Zab Judah was one of the highlights of the year!
I think Cotto has a big chance with his power. Cant see him outboxing mosely! Should be a top fight!

This does have the makings of the fight of the year. Cotto's will to win and his sheer determination in the ring combined with Mosley's brilliance and skill should make this a fight to remember. It would be tough to pick a winner for this fight. Mosley has fought tough opponents before (Vargas) and prevailed. I think this will be a tougher fight for Cotto, but he has the heart of a champion. After seeing what he did to Judah, I have a lot of confidence in his abilities. Boxing is getting good...Finally!!!

I also pick Cotto to win cause he is young, strong and those body shots will take it's toll on Mosley.
If Mosley uses his jab alot to keep Cotto from getting in then it will be a totally different fight.

Mosley usually has problems with technically sound boxers (i.e. - Vernon Forrest, Winky Wright). Cotto is not a technically sound boxer. He comes right at you. He's tailor made for "Sugar". I say Mosley by TKO in the 10th.

Lets bump this thread back up,otherwise boxing will die. At least here at FF!
With Calzaghe/Kessler,Cotto/Mosley and Hatton/PBF going on now, boxing seems a lot more appealing to me at the moment.
I'm giving Cotto the win.

Stephen Quadros: Frye's getting the standing 8-Count here, Bas
Bas Rutten: Why's he getting the standing 8-Count?
Stephen Quadros: Well, he's getting his ass kicked.
