Gina Carano on ESPN's E:60 - Tuesday

ESPN's "E:60" program will feature Gina Carano, one of MMA's most recognizable female fighters, this coming Tuesday, May 13. The program airs at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
Carano, who moonlights as "Crush" on NBC's "American Gladiators," next fights May 31 at "EliteXC: PRIMETIME," the first-ever live MMA event to air on major U.S. network television.
There, Carano meets HOOKnSHOOT champion Kaitlin Young. It will be the lone female bout on the "CBS ELITEXC Saturday Night Fights" debut card, which takes place at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
The "E:60" segment on Carano will include interviews with her parents, including Glenn Carano, a former quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. MMA female fighters Shayna Baszler and Tara LaRosa are also included.
Carano is the second EliteXC fighter featured by the program. An "E:60" segment on heavyweight Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson debuted in December 2007, and an updated version replayed this past Tuesday.

ESPN will profile Gina Carano, the most recognizable face in women’s MMA, on the multi-subject news magazine “E:60” at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on Tuesday. The segment will include comments from Carano’s parents, Bodog Fight women’s champion Tara LaRosa and EliteXC contender Shayna Baszler, along with the story behind Carano’s involvement in MMA. She will challenge Kaitlin Young at CBS EliteXC: Saturday Night Fights on May 31 at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
