yup UFC and WEC are always accessable. I watch so much WEC wreckage its driving my girl crazy. Its the only thing on all the time though

Fact of the matter is I currently don't have Showtime or HDNet.
I'm limited to Spike, CBS, Versus, and an occasional local MMA show on the cable connections channel.
Like most viewers, it's hard to talk about an event you can't see it.

Yeah I'm in the same situation you are except I don't even get versus. So there's not really a whole lot of selection on what mma events I get to watch. I don't really want to get excited for an event that I don't get to see.

opsy | I don't think it is necessarily people only associating the UFC with MMA. The lack of responses in the section is probably because of the frequency of these events and the people on the card. News (or even lack thereof) is also always breaking about new developments in the UFC, where is not so much with EliteXc. It's also on Showtime.
Not making excuses, I am very excited for this card. But there isn't all that much to talk about. |
I agree, the UFC has atleast 1 and sometimes more events per month, plus the TUF series. I believe more would be discussed in the other orgs. if there was more to discuss.....

I'm excited for this card, moreso than the last UFC infact. Other than the Hughes and Davis fights I wasn't too excited. Seeing Yves and Nick is good enough for me.
UFC is getting to be the klenex of the tissue world at least in the US, I don't know if that is good or bad right now.

Diaz's opponent doesnt look too bad, lots of submission wins. Should be a good fight!
Im looking forward to Noons/Edwards too, I think Yves should take this one. Both have good stand up but Yves had a significant advantage on the ground.
