Default ShoXC - Tonight at 11pm ET

    In case anyone's interested...

EliteXC will return to SHOWTIME on tonight at 11 p.m. ET live from the Table Mountain Casino in Fresno, Calif.

As per usual fare, the card lacks star power, which is not what the ShoXC concept is intended for. The idea behind the franchise is to create a proving ground as a way to build new stars, much like SHOWTIME used to do with its ShoBox franchise, which is still in existence but no longer has the impact in boxing that it once had.

Whether the concept is working for MMA remains to be seen, but fighters such as Jon Murphy, Paul Daley, Eddie Alvarez, and Muhsin Corbbrey have all appeared on the show before moving on to bigger and better things. One fighter who could fit the future star mold that is on tonight’s card is Cyrille “The Snake” Diabate.

Pretty good card! Going to be watching it.

I just joined yesterday so you have to clarify yourself on the betting bit. But be careful, you may lose to the new guy.

Check out the Betting Pit. There you can bet FF points for glory similar only to that of defeating a lion bare-handed in the Coliseum.

    Thumbs up

Those were some good fights! Hamman got his revenge, Camoes wasted absolutely no time, Diabate outclassed Fletcher, the skilled women put on quite a show with Sexton getting the split win, and Lizama upset the KOTC MW Champ (in a non-title bout).

Jared Hammen came back to prove himself on the main event. He took some big shots from Suganuma and he kept coming. I'm not really interested in the rubber match they were pusing for. That was a clear victory.

Thanks T, that was a solid little event. Got as much marketing as a paper towel sale though.

Since I've moved, I got a new cable company and somehow I don't have Showtime and missed this event! Anyone know somewhere online where I could catch this?

I've been looking for links all morning for the fights last nights and none of the sites have any thing up yet. When I find something I'll post links for you.
