If I had to compare the two, I would be more impressed by Kimbo then I am with Ken. Ken would have quit after the 2nd round if he were in Kimbo's shoes against Thompson.

I think Ken will get mauled.

But hopefully Ken will be smart and try to make this a ground issue which Kimbo still has not proven he has any comprehension of at all.

I'd love an old fashioned submission on Kimbo. That'd be the shiot.

Now that´s just wrong. At least Ken fought serious top notch competition in his life time. It´s hard to compare two MMA fighters, when one of them barely has 3 fights under his belt. Ken is shot and dead, but Kimbo is so fake that I think Ken can take this. Hell, in the UFC or any other place except EliteXC he would have lost that fight. Good for him that Glass Jaw Thompson (and yes Kimbo couldn´t break it) gassed.

It was really a reference to the Fujita fight where Ken just quit. How is Kimbo fake? I'm not sure what you mean. Overrated and overhyped? Yeah.

Shammy is toast. What was he thinking? Obviously he wasn't. Ken should've hung it up along time ago. If what's his name just KO'ed Ken...what the heck's somebody, like Kimbo, who knows how to swat going to do? Shammy shouldn't even be allowed to fight anymore.

Yep, he was winning. Then he started having heart palpitations and thought he was having a heart attack - so he stopped the fight. I was pissed when it happened, but as I watch the video back I can see Ken had real concern in his eyes. He turned pale and looked visibly worried. Can't blame him for "quitting" when he thought he was getting ready to have a heart attack.

I love how people are making it out like Kimbo is going to pick Shamrock apart with his grade A striking. Are people forgetting that Kimbo barely even looked like an MMA fighter in his last bout, Shamrock may be ancient but with the talent he has left which is limited and his experience I think he'll beat Kimbo.

Even Kimbos punching power isn't great, which is a bit of a problem when that's all the skills you've came in with.

Watching Ken's last few fights makes me think there's only one way this fight will go down. I won't be shocked if Ken submits Kimbo but I'd be very surprised.

I was really surprised to see how close the voting was. Ken's performance in his last fight in Cage Rage was very poor. He basically just stood in front of Robert Berry eating jabs and leg kicks for 3 1/2 minutes, occasionally running forward to throw a combination with no success. And Berry easily stuffed his one takedown attempt. I see this ending early and violently.

how is it so hard to compare the two when you obviously know each of them so well?

personally, i think this fight will be eerily similar to the Manhoef Massacre laid down on Sakuraba, Kimbo wins in sickening fashion and the world groans as to why EliteXC did this to Ken Shamrock

Yep, he was winning. Then he started having heart palpitations and thought he was having a heart attack
yea for real, i hate that people to this day still say ken has a lack of heart after this fight, he did the right thing by quitting...when i saw the fight for the first time i was just as shocked as anyone...but all it took was a little curiosity and i went on google and immediately found why ken threw the towel in.

I truly hope that Shamrock puts an end to the Kimbo farce and makes EliteXC either start headlining with true fighters such as Lawler all of their events, or sink and disappear.

LOL!! Although i think Kimbo will actually hit him. Despite Kimbo's lack of cardio and absent ground game his boxing is pretty good and its all he's going to need. Ken "Desperation" Shamrock is going to come out looking to brawl and he's going to get caught, probably with a nice uppercut similar to what Kimbo threw against Thompson.
