Mike Tyson or Fedor???
Who do you think would win in a fight, Mike Tyson (Prime) or Fedor. In a strictly boxing match i would say Mike Tyson in his prime, but in an mma match if Tyson had like 6 months of training do you think he could take Fedor?

Fedor would dominate Tyson on any scale of MMA fight. While Tyson in his prime could defeat Fedor in a boxing match, in an MMA match once Fedor brings him to the ground it won't last long. He would GnP and easily transition into a sub.

This would be a better Poll if it was Fedor, vs a Tyson who had grown up training MMA from day 1. The answer of course would still be Fedor.

Thats going a bit far I think lol, Tyson was an excellent boxer who had monsterous punching abilities, albeit for his prime years. People remember what he is like at the end of his career instead of what he was like at his best I think when making a comparrison, they were 2 different people. Look at the Tyson vs Lewis fight where Lewis absolutely killed him with not so much as a come back, that would have never happened back in Tysons hayday.
If Tyson had MMA training from day 1, id honestly see him as a half decent Rashad and probably would school Fedor, I mean the big bloke is rather hyped up a bit and 2 ear bites? Ufff No Contest.

Fedor would destroy Tyson for sure.
No contest whatsoever. Submission in round 2 I reckon.

Whoops i voted for Tyson by accident. Fedor would run him in a MMA match.

I won't try to argue with you. It would be in vain because the majority of you probably wouldn't listen to what I have to say anyways.
It's funny, though, how underrated Tyson really is. It must be easy taking down the hardest puncher of all times and youngest heavyweight champion ever, undisputed champion with a never seen before killer instinct.

In a fight it is Fedor no doubt. Fedor is a mixed martial artist that incorporates all aspects of stand up and ground fighting into the most succesful fighter the sport has ever seen. Tyson was a great boxer, but a boxer none the less. Fedor would train and train for the takedown and eventually get it. It does not matter how much heart and will tyson would have if he was on the ground against a superior ground technician. Tyson could win, yes but only by one punch KO. Chances are Fedor would win this fight since this is Fedor's sport, not tysons.

I think Tyson will have a punchers chance in beating Fedor....But in an MMA world and Tyson didn't train in there world then Fedor will beat Tyson but if Tyson trained in stopping the take downs just like Chuck does, then Tyson will KO just about anyone in MMA.
Imagine Tyson hitting someone with those small gloves.....Ouch.

Yes I think if Tyson had 6 months of training he will beat Fedor.....Tyson just has to keep the fight on it's feet. But you never know he maybe like Kimbo and learn some submissions and won't be a fish out of water if the fight does go to the ground.

6 months wouldnt teach you enough to stuff the takedown of a champion in Sambo.
