I don't know about the rest of you but I am really intrigued by seeing Fedor fight Jeff Monson.

I don't really know why and the odds would probably be pretty stacked against Monson, but I would really like to see this match.

when there was a rumour about this everyone was like "oh yet another not top ten fighter for fedor" which i thought was silly. id have to pick fedor, but i think monson has the strength and submission skills to give him a bit of trouble

he'll never get fedor down.........fedor will destroy him in the stand up. Monson has good subs but his take downs are not good at all.

Jeff's standup has improved immensely since he left the UFC. His may have lost his fight with Pedro Rizzo but he stood with him for most of the fight before getting KO'd. Some would even argue that Monson was the better striker in the early rounds. His compact frame and short arms make for powerful punches when not dealing with a reach disadvantage. Overall i do think that Fedor is well rounded enough to deal with anything Monson has but at the sametime i don't think Fedor has anything on Monson aside from maybe speed. Still, you look back at the Fujita fight where Fedor was knocked silly and i have to wonder if that same scenario where to happen against Jeff Monson. I say the fight is pretty even especially since there is'nt a huge height advantage for Fedor.
