as you can see gooner brings confrontation about tito to yet another thread.
how many threads now have u mentioned tito and me apparently being a nut hugger of tito. seems like if your not on the rashad bandwagon your getting isolated as a tito nuthugger around here these days.

agreed man id love to see gooner say some of the stuff he says to me to titos face. i am a tito fan because if everyone in the UFC had as much personality as guys like Keth Jardine or Rashad the UFC would be a boring place. i want smack talk, big entrances, jumping around with flags and aggressive fighting.

I knew there was a reason you and I were cool. I feel the same way about Tito. Tito is what made MMA big in the US. He was their first Vegas guy, their first superstar, he brought out all the celebrities, models, porn stars, athletes, etc.
And he can fight. Sure his style is figured out now, but I think Tito will have one last hoorah before he hangs it up. He's only 31 and works his ass off each and every time. So I'll always be a Tito fan.
Fighters are fighters. They're not some pansy Poli-Sci type geeks who are suppose to behave. They're supposed to talk ****, theyre supposed to go nutz.
I've been a big advocate against the pussification of MMA the last 3 years that I noticed it started. Glad to see I'm not alone!

Of course I wouldn't say that to his face. Not because I would be scared (there would be no reason to be), but because I'm not like that. Not many people are. Who the hell walks around and tells every person something negative about them?
While we're on the subject, his star status is not deserved imo. He's not a star, because he's beaten a bunch top LHW's (he hasn't). Not even because his fights are exciting (they're not). He's a star because he has flashy entrances, gravedigger-routines, and everything else that has nothing to do with the actual athletic performance in the octagon. Some people like that stuff so much (Nimmy&Co).
And that's why UFC will give him an easy opponent next (AGAIN).

Yes. They've coddled Tito. And will continue to do so, I'm afraid.
Most of his title fights are a good example of this as well. Just because it was a title fight, didn't mean it was the toughest competition out there.
Much like Rashad and his recent "main eventer".
I've never said they DON'T coddle the TUFfers, quite the contrary. And I hate it.
I'd love to see Rashad-Tito.
I fully believe Rashad is the better fighter, yet Tito is the "star" making a buttload of cash. If you're such a star, please beat a top 10 LHW for me...

Yeah, he's beaten Silva,Belfort,Mezger, and has at least fought Liddell and Couture

The Anti-Tito clan would say...
Vitor was past his prime, Wanderlei was 8 years ago, Kondo was over-rated, etc etc etc.
Tito is a lot better than most people give him credit. I think he'd beat Sobral for example. Quite easily. Then they'd say something Anti Babalu as to why he lost.

well, I saw Tito and Jenna down on main street last week, needless to say, Jenna looks even more like a crack head in person. Tito is huge, Im 5'9" and I felt tiny, maybe it because his head was so damn big.

Or you may as well call them the Truth Clan.
Vitor wasn't a top 10 LHW. Like Tito, he always loses when he fights top competition (AND he should have gotten the decision against Tito, good thing takedowns are overrated in the UFC). Yeah, Wandy was a while back. Vitor beat him as well back then.
Kondo is really a middleweight (like Evan Tanner), and Phil Baroni KO'd him in about 6 seconds.
Randy and Chuck...Yes, tough guys. And we all know what happened there.
