BJ Penn vs Royce Gracie
I was on my UFC Fight club Forum site and they're saying sometime this year Royce will be back for a fight in The UFC.
And many were like "what for and vs who?"
So many of us agreed Royce shouldnt even comeback for any meaningful fight. But.
I have the idea that if you do have Royce come back, make him fight other BJJ oriented fighters. Such as BJ Penn. Make it more of a Teacher vs Student hype MMA fight and see what happens.
I think I'd buy into the teacher vs student fight. Put other really good BJJ guys in there with Royce and see if Royce still reigns supreme in BJJ!

BJ would be the "teacher" in this fight.
Royce has never "reigned supreme in BJJ".
He mostly beat guys who had zero ground game.
Whereas BJ has beaten the best of the best.

BJ won a world championship in BJJ. Royce did not. BJ has awesome stand up. Royce does not. Other than an insane ability to not tap about 15 degress into armbar past the natural range of motion, Royce does not have much to offer. But of course it is ROYCE GRACIE. How can you not want to see him throw down.

Yep if Penn was ready for Hughes he would have beat him too. As for Grandma Gracie he might be looking at a long brawl with alot of standup, I heard that lady can Brawl. hahahah
