Default Questions about Bones

Can our bones really be thickened and hardened by being beaten scientificly long? I have a problem with an easily-bleeding nose, and even after a medium hit on it I could sense an unbearable sharp pain! Does that mean I have a crisp bone of my nose bridge? I haven't got a frature on my nose though, yet I think it's because I haven't been hurt really bad to it.

I also have the similar problem with my wrist, I think they are way too thin! Can I anyhow make them thicker? What's your opinions?

I think it will be better if I visualize this handful! I'm quite tall at 6'3, but my wrist is just as thin as an average built 5'9ish guy's wrist girth.

quite simple... bones grow and thicken up until about 20 years old.. at that point they are only maintained... with age they get more brail... all you can do is strengthen the muscle around them

Are you quite sure?? Then how can I strengthen the muscles around my nose? Are the thin muscles helpful for promoting the defense of my nose?

The bones of the body will respond to repeated bruising by laying down or producing more calcium in that spot. Hence the painful hand training that many TMA and fighters have to do. Kick boxers and MT fighters spend many hours on just the lower leg. The bones of the hand, lower leg, feet, wrist and forearm are relatively easy to toughen and thicken, albeit a very painful and long process. The bones of the nose, well you might not want to bruse it in that way. You can strengthen the muscles of the face however. The easy nose bleed, well you might just be an easy bleeder...

yea all true.. forgot to mention that... weight training also helps with calcium production, but its impossible to do that with your nose

Like Mammoth was saying the limbs are easy to thicken because the body does lay down calcium...like the Thai boxers kicking trees, Karate guys hitting Makiwari boards, etc., but my understanding surrounding the nose is that once it's been broken the more likely it is to break again. You can strengthen the muscles of the face/jaw line but I think you're pretty much S.O.L. with the nose. Max bone density is reached between 20 and 35 years of age, and resistance training is effective at maintaining it, but it will not increase beyond it's max point. But you can't do it for your nose. Maybe try improving your bobbing and weaving skills so you don't deflect so many hands with your nose. I'm sorry that's not a lot of encouraging info.

Well, what's the best way of adding or strengthening the muscles of one's face? For example, some mathods related to weight lifting?

Jack Dempsey also used to chew on a piece of pine...though I would think there'd be things less detrimental to your teeth...like a piece of rubber or something.

Any ideas? It doesn't matter? How do I put strong, thick and defensive muscles onto my nose?

P.S. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to edit this post. I thought I clicked on the quote button, while in fact I clicked on the edit, and I changed the content.
