Default Equipment you'd want...

What type of equipment would you want to see in a Strength & Conditioning facility that you were considering paying good money to train at? obviously weights and cardio equipment but does anyone have any specifics they'd view as "must have"?

The Gravitron machine. I've gotten the best full body workouts fromt he Gravitron that a machine can deliver.

Great piece of equipment.

I think plate loaded hammer strength machines are vastly underrated, specifically the rowing machines. All HS machines are top notch though IMO.

A power rack is the main thing I look for. My gym also has plyometric balls and a mini-tramp, and a body blade. I wish it had either a floor bag or a heavy bag and a speed bag. It also has a smoothie bar too; which is pretty cool.

Cable Machines.
You can use the tandem cable machine to work out nearly every part of your body. A must have for any gym or training facility in my opinion.

I also like the towers which have Dipping bars, Pull up bars and a Captain chair on them. For working out the upper body they are great.

We have one of those pull-up/dip machines; which have weight to counter balance your body weight...what a great training tool to get to doing your own pull ups.

I like to take it old school and cross my legs at the anckel and get somebody behind me to boost me up when I need it. But if your like me and dont have friends then the machine with the counter balance is a great way to get started. There is a guy at my gym that will do 20 or so wide grip pull ups with a 25kg weight plate.
