Well, actually, we're both sorta right. Higher sugar = higher calories...after I wrote it I got to thinking about all the citrus fruit and of the like; which is typically loaded in sugar and higher in calories. I wasn't thinking of it because when I think fruit and veggies I think apples, berries and such...not citrus. I don't eat Citrus very much and when I do it's early in the day or a little orange juice right after a workout.

i would'nt tell a person not to eat whole fruit. I have told people to avoid bottled juices which almost always have added sugar and are lacking vitamins that are destroyed in processing. Whole fruits and fresh juices contain vitamins and minerals and other beneficial substances that science has no hope of duplicating.

I'm not saying don't eat them...actually when he and I started talking about it I basically said the same thing, but wrote that comment about the citrus because I don't consume it a lot and it is higher in sugar and ultimately calories...but I'm saying don't eat them but to just be leary not to woof 'em down because of the calorie count in them.
