nice fight!! at the 530 mark i was confused as to what was going on??? were you in the red shorts?? if so why was neither fighter engaging, it seems the guy in the red shorts could have finished him off around then...
either way real exciting back and forth... what kinda venue was that?

I was in the Red Shorts. Yeah I was real tired around the 530 mark and was trying to figure out how I was gonna get him.
Its the Auckland Boxing Association there was a little over 500 people watching I believe. Its where most ammeter fights are held here in my city.

I have a comfirmed fight in september. I find out who im fighting a month before the fight along with set dates. I wasnt nervous at all I was yawning all day and very relaxed but then as I was doing my warm up my body started to shake. Not a nervous shake but an energetic shake. You cant really tell but straight after the bell went for the first round to start he landed a very solid punch square in my face which shook me quite bad and took me a while to get into the swing of things.
I cant wait for my next fight though. I am going to be heaps fitter and leaner will go in at 75kgs. I asked the same guy for a rematch but was declined.

I liked it.
I really did. It was high paced, maybe pace yourself a bit more and pick your shots, but you gave as good as you took Tex.
And again, you have what I call "crazy reach".
Good first fight.
