Grab a heavy bag
So in my boredom I decided to try something I noticed watching my TUF I dvd for fifth time. It show's Forrest training "Rocky" style for the finale with crappy gear and moving around some heavy bags. I thought of how great a workout that would be because you could use ranges of motion that simulate grappling and wrestling and that this goes along the same lines as workouts with kettlebells. So I grabbed my heavy bag and went for explosive movements that simulate grappling situations.
-put it on my shoulders and did some jumping squats.
-laid on my back and threw it up in the air
-laid on my back and threw it side to side
-sat up and did some curling motions
-laid on my back and pushed it towards my feet going right hand towards left foot
I can barely move, holy crap. I'm typing this with my elbows propped up on my knees. anyone who isn't going to the gym and just doing pull ups sit ups and push ups, add this if you have a heavy bag or something similar.
