What is your diet like right now, I started losing weight when I was 14 so hopefully I can help you. Was 5'4 151lbs and now I'm 5'7 140lbs and most all of my weight is bone and muscle, not to say I'm extremely muscular I'm am pretty skinny. Just make sure when you do lose weight don't lose too much because I went all the way down to 115 and was really really skinny, this was partly because I broke my leg and lost some weight because I wasn't doing anything so I wasn't hungry. So anyway sorry to keep rambling on like this.

Pertaining to the porridge, what kind of liquid do you use. If its 100% milk that would be a good first step. What kind of bread do you use for sandwiches and toast and what do you put on your toast? Also what kind of muscle do you want to build do you want to build? builkier or leaner? One thing I would recommend is just to drink alot of water it should help you lose some weight and keeps you hydrated. Also if you could tell me what kinds of exercise are you doing now.

I would say cutting out the butter on the toast and if you can switching to at least 2% milk but skim would be better. If you are trying to lose weight I believe that doing things like sprints help to burn more fat calories. If you can find a nice hill somewhere I would suggest doing hill sprints. Do you have a pull-up/chin-up bar?

7 Kgs is roughly what 15-17 lbs? Really, if you're wanting to lean up and muscle up...I wouldn't focus so much on how much you weigh as to how you look. The reason I say that is because it is very difficult to drop pounds and actually add muscle mass. It can be done, but it's near rocket science when it comes to diet and the right balance of exercises. What I would recommend to you is to tweak your diet, as you've been discussing with Jack's Pancreas, and throw in a good quality lifting program. Remove the refined carbs from your diet...white breads, white pastas, white rice, crackers, really any carb from a box; with the exception of brown rice. Like you said earlier, replace the whole with skim milk, cut the butter, cut the soda, etc. Add a decent, low sugar protein powder, eat lean meats such as turkey, skinless chicken, sirloin, etc. Eat veggies...just limit your intake of corn and potatoes...they're very starchy. Fruits are good and plently of water. There is a great lifting/training program...that cycles throughout the course of a year, on mensfitness.com. I just follow it best I can, if I miss some time, I just pick up at the place I should be in the program and go from there. Don't sweat it if you miss time or can't do everything exactly as they have it laid out...general idea is to follow it best you can and do what you can...it's still better than doing nothing. There's a link to it, in another thread, I posted on here. It lays everything out for you...good multi muscle group lifts, core, and cardio. Check it out. Hope this helps.

Uggh...that makes it harder. Well, protein supplements I guess...nuts, tofu. Do vegetarians eat dairy outside of milk? What about eggs?...probably not??
