Default So you wanna train in Brazil?

I have been living in Brasil for the last 4 years. I have written a course on how to survive there especially for guys who want to train jiu jitsu. It would be very useful for anyone going for a week or a year +! A prerelease version is being offered right now to gain feedback. We are selling 20 on ebay and others at fight events on the weekends. I will give one away free to the person who sends me the best email on why "they want to train/live in Brazil". Email must be submitted by July 11th. send to info@doitinbrazil.com . check out directfrombrazil ebay store too. stores.ebay.com/directfrombrazil thanks.

Fighter's Only Magazine also just did a 2 part article on training in Brasil which although it only covered about 10 pages total was very informative. apparently traveling to Brazil and training differs greatly from the way things are done in the USA so i imagine a guide written by someone who has already done it would be very useful. its not as simple as buying a plane ticket and finding a school.

My BJJ trainer grew up in Brazil, and still has a personal BJJ trainer from Brazil so hopefully I'm getting the Brazil way already.

Default Would love to see that article...

Is that an American magazine?

You are right. Its not that simple....but the hardest part is learning to sustain yourself and adapt to the culture.

You might be getting the "jiu jitsu" from Brazil....but you arent experiencing life in Brazil! Thats a key difference. My course isnt just about improving your jiu jitsu....but improving quality of life in paradise!!

its actually printed in England and Ian "the Machine" Freeman is the editor. i find it to be one of the better MMA magazines, but i am basing that opinion on just two issues. i am personally very familiar with Brazillian culture since we have alot of workers from Brazil in my area, i have found the majority to be very friendly and accepting.

Thats what I meant, not the American version of BJJ. I don't plan to live in Barzil so I'm good.
