I agree with what MadOne said. I take the same vitamins he does (I was surprised to see the recommended dosage was 6 per day, but whatever).
Re: vitamins, there's no magic to what they "do". Your body requires a variety of the different vitamins contained in food, but because we don't usually get a huge wide variety of fruits and vegetables every day (and because a lot of the vitamins in food are killed off when we cook it), you take vitamins to get what you'd otherwise be missing.
And I would also recommend signing up at Ross Enamait's site, as MadOne has recommended. Those guys are kind of harda**es (a good number of amateur and pro boxers and martial artists post there), but they're informed and helpful -- especially Ross. I'll warn you, though, not to necessarily take everything you read over there as truth, just read it all and question what sounds wacky. Some of them have that oldschool tough guy mentality that causes more harm than good (for example, when I was laid up with shin splints, one guy was recommending that the best way to deal with them was to start doing my roadwork without shoes because that would toughen my legs and feet up. Total crap).
And at 16, don't bother with creatine yet. Just get in shape, eat healthy, get lots of protein, and work your muscles naturally. There are no real short cuts, and the best way is always hard work.
